About Emma

A tribute to my special precious Baby “Emma”.

Life lessons taught from my Emma.

I got Emma right after we had lost our other Shitzu, Precious. Our hearts were broken but I decided our house was empty so we needed to fill that void with 8 weeks old Emma. My husband and I were unable to have kids so we have 4 legged kids. Emma was a very sweet loving 6 1/2 year old dog. She slept with us in bed along with her sisters, Gracie and Nacho. Every morning Emma would walk up my body to my face and kiss me good morning. She was always a happy girl. She loved giving kisses to everyone, even going to the vet techs when having her blood taken. Her tail was always wagging no matter how sick she was, even leaving ICU in May, when the vets told us there was no hope for Emma. She got better. She was our miracle baby. In August, she had a re-occurrence of her ITP with internal bleeding. We had to say good bye. Even as sick as she was she was still giving kisses and wagging her tail. Emma was a special happy girl. Happy about life. Happy to see everyone.

Emma has taught me so many things. Give love and love will be given back to you. Dance when you are happy, like she did every day when I got home from work. Enjoy life as you never know when it will be cut short.

One night sitting outside after Emma passed, looking up at the sky, I said Emma, Mommy needs to know you are ok in heaven. In the clouds formed a heart and from the heart the moon rose above it. Believe in miracles Mommy. It was me, Emma.
