Pixie “Turkey” Wilkinson
(June 13, 2004 to April 4, 2019)

Pixie was adopted from the Aberdeen Humane Society on June 13th, 2005. It was love at first sight when Kathryn saw her in a window meowing and sticking her tongue out at her. That day she chose Kathryn to be her mom, and soon after, Jamie to be her dad. She was a beautiful, loving, precious little soul with the biggest heart.

Her favorite things to do with her mom included waking her up, sitting on the toilet lid while she took a shower, and taking turns getting brushies with her, especially on the top of her head. In the day she would lay with her in the sun and read, and they would sometimes fall asleep together on the couch. At night she would lay on her mom’s head while they both slept.

Her favorite things to do with her dad included laying on his legs, getting belly rubs and getting her head rubbed by his face. They also enjoyed taking sniff tours together which involved being held and walking around the apartment sniffing and rubbing her teeth on the doorways, closets and medicine cabinet.

Pixie was also goofy and came running to weird noises like “eeeeeee!”, “shhhhhhh!”, “come ‘ere!” and whistling. She always loved cleaning her tail, and would give tortitude anytime someone would put their finger on a freshly cleaned spot. She also enjoyed what we deemed ‘Poop Castles’ in her litter box, where she’d scrape around in there for 10 to 15 minutes, or even just lay down and relax.

She has been greatly loved from the first moment we saw her. She fought to the very end and held on until her mom and dad could be there with her. She will be missed more than she knows and will never be forgotten. Goodbye Pixie, you are our daughter, and we will love you always. xxx – Mommy & Daddy
