About Corky

Passed on July 25, 2012

Corky was born on a farm in a turned over milk bucket. When he first came home with me, he required calorie loaded soy milk eye drop feedings every 4 hours (even in middle of night) because it was discovered he was lactic intolerant and loosing weight fast. After months of monitoring and special care he was a normal mischievous kitten, although for the remainder of his life he could not tolerate any dairy products. Corky loved to be warm, he insisted on sleeping under the covers in our bed, lay in the sun on our porch, or curl up in front of the fireplace on cold winter nights. Corky was with us for 16 wonderful years. And although we have other pets, our bed is empty without him under the covers.
