Hauser

Hauser came home with me in 1995 – he was from a litter of only two kittens and he was the one who was left when I got there – I often felt sorry for the other people who didn’t choose Hauser! He was very handsome – blue and gray, he was a manx, but had the cutest 4-inch stumpy tail. He had the best personality, although he could appear to be a bit haughty to those who didn’t know him well. He loved to be held and carried around the home. I would hold him up by the bookshelves and pictures on the walls and he would inspect everything. He loved to sleep in my arms or on my pillow. He had two favorite toys, a kitty-go-crazy and a yeowww banana. After every meal I had to turn on his kitty-go-crazy and he would play with it or just sit under it while the arm swung and the ball hit him on the head. It was his way of relaxing. He also loved to bunny kick his banana and rub it all over his head. Hauser was a seasoned traveler and he lived with me in Austin Texas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Saint Paul. He loved to ride in the car and would often go to work with me, where he was the Boss of .

Hauser, I will miss you every day. I hope you are in kitty heaven, chasing birds and squirrels and with a kitty-go-crazy that has batteries that never die and bunches of bananas to sleep on.
