A Compassionate and Caring Choice

  • A specially designed cot and blanket for transportation and cremation (no plastic garbage bags).
  • Same day transportation from your home or clinic (no freezer stacking storage).
  • Transportation using only a clean passenger vehicle (no cargo vans or pick-up trucks).
  • A stainless steel medallion tracking system that is similar to those used for human family members.
  • Next day return of ashes (no waiting a week to ten days).
  • Return of ashes by our staff to your clinic or home (never by common carrier unless you request it).

At Pets Remembered:

  • Each pet is cremated privately and alone.
  • Only one pet is allowed in the entire cremation machine; this is the only cremation method we provide. [If someone else describes their cremation method as “individual” or “separate”, that may sometimes mean they are putting more than one pet in their cremation machine at the same time.]
  • Within 24 hours1 after a pet comes into our care, your pet’s ashes are either returned to the veterinary clinic from which they were picked up or are available at our location to be picked up by you.

1This time frame is sometimes lengthened if your pet comes into our care after 5:00pm, or because the vet clinic is closed the following day (for example, Sunday), or due to federal holidays, or due to bad weather affecting travel.
2Paw/foot clay and ink prints are not available for certain animals, for example snakes.
3Hair samples are not available for certain animals, for example lizards and snakes. For birds we provide 2-3 feathers as a memento.
4Head, hooves and heart elements are created by the veterinarian conducting euthanasia/necropsy procedure; those elements are not created by Pets Remembered. Pets Remembered picks up those three elements from the veterinarian clinic/hospital.
