About Trouble

Passed on February 2, 2017

I would like to share my story about my dear Trouble. He was a 12 year old shih tzu who died from Leukemia lymphocytes. At the end he was very ill and was not enjoying any of the activities that he so loved such as going for walks, running up and down my hallways and even following me around the house.

In May of 2004, I purchased a spunky 6 month old from a family in North Dakota. He was full of energy and we went for countless walks over the years. He loved to sniff at each tree and leaf. We went to the dog park almost every day in the summer/fall. He rarely barked but he loved sitting on top of the couch or by the deck door and bark at people/dogs walking by on the trail. I think he thought he was protecting me. He was my buddy. Trouble always needed to be near me and slept on the bed with me at night. I guess I was as important to him as he was to me. He loved people and needed to be around when I had people at the house or if we went somewhere. He loved to be petted and his underbelly scratched. We had many fine years together and I will miss him terribly. Enclosed is a picture of him. In 2011, I went to Petco with my sister who was looking for a dog and found Oreo. Trouble wasn’t crazy about having a brother but he got used to him. They both were put to sleep a day apart and now rest together in one urn. Brothers forever
