At Pets Remembered

  • All pets are cremated privately and alone.
  • Only one pet is allowed in the entire cremation machine; this is the only cremation method we provide.
  • Within 24 hours1 after your pet comes into our care, your pet’s ashes are either returned to the veterinary clinic from which they were picked up or are available at our location to be picked up by you.

Other cremation providers may describe their method as “individual” or “separate”, which is different from privately and alone.  Methods described as “individual” or “separate” may actually mean putting more than one pet at a time in their cremation machine.

1 This time frame is sometimes lengthened in some situations, including: your pet comes into our care after 5:00 PM; vet clinic is closed the following day (for example, Sunday); federal holidays; inclement weather affecting travel.
2 Paw/foot clay and ink prints are not available for certain animals, for example snakes.
3 Hair samples are not available for certain animals, for example lizards and snakes. For birds we provide 2-3 feathers as a memento.
4 Head, hooves and heart elements are created by the veterinarian conducting euthanasia/necropsy procedure; those elements are not created by Pets Remembered. Pets Remembered picks up those three elements from the veterinarian clinic/hospital.
