Dexter Novi

On 12/2/23 Dexter’s fight with cancer ended in the arms of his family at home on his favorite bed. Dexter lived 14 wonderful years, had too many furry friends to count, and was loved by all that had the pleasure of meeting him. Dexter was often described by strangers as the most relaxed and well behaved husky they’ve ever met. Dexter’s favorite things to do were walks, swimming at the dog beach, getting into howling matches with his family, burying himself in snow banks and of course naps.

Dexter was more than a pet to us, he was family. Dexter helped us through our hard times, celebrated the good, and taught us to slow down to smell the flowers like he loved to do. Dexter also taught us to be patient and love unconditionally. We will be forever grateful to Dexter for all the memories, pictures, and keepsakes he left behind.

A “Soul Dog” is an extraordinary canine companion that touches our lives in a profound way. Dexter was ours and he will always be missed.
